In the water management of the future, water security and water safety go hand in hand. Large parts of Europe are having to deal with flooding problems. However, dry summers are also causing natural, agricultural and urban areas to dry up. Our tools provide insight into local changes in an intuitive way and help identify the measures that need to be taken. Moreover, thanks to our many years of experience, we can also provide underground water storage designs (ASR) with a regional scope. All this, if requested, from a Digital Twin perspective.
Flowdot
A changing climate will lead to rising sea levels and rivers will have to accommodate peak discharges more frequently. Moreover, dry periods will become both longer and more extensive. These developments require an area approach in which water safety and water security are given equal weight. With FLOWDOT, regional water systems are analysed and visualised specifically from a water security perspective. Solutions must contribute to the combined function of a water system: Water Security and Water Safety.
